MORE COMPANIES INVEST IN ROBOT PRODUCTION AS DEMAND RISES
Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing robot consumption markets in ASEAN, and is expected to grow even more in the next two to three years, experts have said. According to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), Vietnam ranks 18th worldwide in the number of robots put into production. Last year, Vietnam had 13,782 robots, up 13% from 12,200 in 2017. Electronics industry consumed the vast majority of robots with 42%, followed by automotive industry with 12%.
