*Due to the rising of internet users, changes of consumer behavior, the more reliability of e-payment and the faster logistics and delivery services, e-commerce in Thailand has grown 14% in 2018, making Thai e-commerce the highest growth in ASEAN with value 2.7 trillion baht, up from 2.5 and 2.4 trillion in 2017 and 2016 respectively. The collected data since 2014 from Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) indicates that Thai e-commerce has grown 8-10% annually, and it’s expected to hit 20% this year.
As the wave of e-commerce is sweeping over Thailand, business and logistics providers must embrace digitalization that quickly meet demands through real-time response and faster delivery.
