F.T.T. projects car output for 2016

The Federation of Thai Industries projects to output of car making for 2016 to reach 2 million units due to the recovery of world economy. The output for September only rose to 173,000 units.

FTI Vice President and Spokesperson of the Auto Industry Club Surapong Pisitpattanapong has estimated that the overall car production output for 2016 will be 1.97-2 million units since the world’s economy picks up during the latter part of the year, resulting in increasing international order, and the export total should meet the expectation of 1.22-1.25 million units.
