Cotton USA has recently released its “2016 Global Lifestyle Monitor” that revealed consumer behaviors based on the test group which consisted of 1,000 respondents in Bangkok and other cities. The studies found that environment friendly apparels remain widely popular among Thai consumers, with 75% of consumers saying they seek cloths that offer sustainability and eco-friendly. Furthermore, about 98% of Thai consumers believe cotton fibers are safe for the environment, while 81% prefer cotton clothes and 67% are eager to pay more.*

Eco-friendly apparels, once a niche segment, has now catches on in Thailand with many consumers going green and retail stores eager to meet the rising demand.
