Special Zone and Highlighted Activities
that Deliver to the Automation Core!


Assembly Technology 2008 became alive from 19 - 22 June 2008 as the marketplace for Thailand’s automated manufacturing and assembling community.  The exhibition served as a showcase of leading-edge production technologies and innovative solutions for manufacturing environment. Held annually in the heart of Thailand's manufacturing communities, Assembly Technology is Thailand's largest forum for domestic and international manufacturers and distributors to display the full range of manufacturing machinery, plant-floor automation technology and support products.

The highlighted exhibition profile under Assembly Technology umbrella, Automotive Electronics 2008  is a special zone for international companies and technology providers in electronics components and parts manufacturing, computerized systems for engine control, safety control systems in vehicles, participate to showcase new automotive electronic innovations.

Robot Demonstration Zone, one of the featured activities, took visitors by surprise with the cutting-edge performances of over 15 robot arms from today’s leading suppliers such as ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa and OTC. This Zone helped spark visitors’ idea as they could see the “real thing” and see how these robot arms can help them minimize production time and costs along with human errors while optimizing the manufacturing performance. Moreover, PLC Programming Contest 2008 sponsored by Siemens, OMRON and Mitsubishi was also featured.

Securing many successes in terms of visitors and space booking, Assembly Technology 2008 hit a new record with over 37,000 quality buyers and over 70% of exhibition space for 2009  edition were already taken. To add more colors in year 2009 are International Pavilions from Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, China and Germany.
